my dear Mum has been quite poorly over the past few months and has been in and out of hospital since October so with regular visits down to Chester and Xmas i have not had much time for crafting,   now things are starting to get back to normal i can hopefully get back into my crafting again

Diamond Anniversary

Hello everyone, oh dear i seem to have neglected 

my poor little blog over the last month but with my 

Mum & Dads 60th wedding Anniversary in July and weekends away

 in the caravani just didn't seem to get the time to catch up 

anyway enough waffling and on to my card

Anniversary Invitation

Good morning to all my lovely followers and visitors

I'm off to Chester on Wednesday for a few days to celebrate my

 Mum and Dads Diamond wedding anniversary 

 my sister and i arranged have quite a few surprises 

for them including an afternoon tea party for 25 family and close friends next Saturday

Today i would like to show the invitations that i made for

 Mum and Dads surprise tea party i wanted something plain and simple and not fussy 

 i cut and embossed 35 pieces of card and a total of 70 tags

 i used pumice stone distress inks round the edges of the tags just to add some colour and attached them to the ribbon

I have a week off work so going to the caravan for

a few days tomorrow to spend some nice relaxing time doing nothing

i just hope the sun decides to make an appearance 

My card today day is one my friend asked me to make for her

 hubby's 65th birthday, he has an allotment and loves gardening 

 she loved the image as she said it looks him.. ha ha
