Good morning bloggers hope you are all well today, Well the charity fun day last Sunday was a disaster and ended up a total wash out, so much for our great british summer
the day started at 9am with glorious sunshine but by 11am black clouds loomed and we had torrential rain and a thunderstorm that made everyone run for shelter
although we all had our gazebo's they started letting in water due to the amount of rain by 1pm the field was becoming a mud bath and all the stalls were forced to pack away and call it a day which was a great shame for everyone as so much goes into organising events like these , sadly we only made about £500 for the Marie Curie cancer fund which was very disappointing but as we all said its better than nothing at all

I had a fab time last weekend in Shropshire at the joint party for my Auntie's 80th and my cousin's 50th birthdays, i met up with family that i hadn't seen for 32 years and my hubby & Son met some of my side of the family they didn't know existed , its quite scary to think where all those years have gone , it was lovely to reminisce on our childhood and teenage years and finding out what everyone has been up to in their lives ,  it was great to catch up with my cousin who is over here from L.A to celebrate her 50th birthday and i also got to spend some quality time with my parents and sister who live 152 miles away from me in Chester,  any way as i've now probably bored you all senseless  lets get onto my card for this week
